The development of De Grote Denkersdreef in Almere Oosterwold focuses on the realization of a qualitative living environment for the residents of ICZ Cura. For the target group, mental disabled, the presence of daytime activities in the surrounding living environment plays a major role in giving meaning to life and talent development. The context of the rural location with a low level of facilities emphasizes the importance of including this daytime activity into the program. The building blocks in the system are aimed at learning, working, care and reflection, creating a “healing environment”; directly contributing to the well-being of the residents.
